Abstract

The article examines the specifics of professional training of social workers to work with military personnel and their family members. An analysis of leading scientific studies in the field of military sociology and reintegration of servicemen was carried out; the main spheres of interaction of social workers with military personnel are defined; basic requirements for professional training of specialists and personal characteristics are outlined. Special attention is focused on the analysis of the integrated model of professional training of social workers to work with military personnel, veterans and their families. The main stages of formation of motivational, cognitive and value spheres of future specialists are defined. The purpose of the article is to determine the integrative trends in training social workers to work in the direction of rehabilitation and reintegration of military personnel and their family members. To achieve the set goal, a number of tasks were defined: to theoretically research and generalize the leading scientific experience regarding the features of social work with military personnel and members of their families; determine the basic requirements for the personality of a social worker and his professional training in terms of social work with servicemen and their families; to propose directions for improving the professional training of social workers in matters of military sociology and social work with servicemen and their families within the reintegration process. The research was conducted using the methods of theoretical, empirical research and general methods of scientific research. The conclusions summarize the main directions of reintegration activities carried out by social workers and the requirements for professional training of social workers. The novelty of the study consists in planning a model of training social workers to work with military personnel and their families, taking into account the integrative trends of activity.
